Privacy Policy

We understand how important the privacy of personal information is to our users. At Player’s Health, we understand that you trust us with your information. This Privacy Policy (“PP”) discloses and explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

Player’s Health is an interactive mobile platform designed to enable medical staff, coaches, and parents to quickly and easily document and manage an athlete's health and wellness. Player’s Health is not a healthcare provider. Player’s Health does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The contents of the Player’s Health Site (“Content”) is for informational purposes only. None of the Content should be construed as medical recommendations, medical advice, or legal advice. The Content is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified healthcare professional with any questions you have regarding a medical condition or injury. Never disregard professional medical advice. If you believe you may have a medical emergency, call 911 or applicable emergency line immediately.


Access to the Player’s Health interface is limited to users who have created a Player’s Health profile. If you choose to register or update a Player’s Health profile, you may be required to submit personal information. Personal information refers to information that we can use to identify or contact you, such as your name, address, telephone number or email address.

Some of our interactive tools permit you to submit health information, which is also considered personal information. If you choose to submit your personal information, you are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the information that you submit. Inaccurate information can affect your user experience with Player’s Health and our ability to perform platform functions and services.

Player’s Health will not make use of your personal information not covered by this PP without such additional consent from you. Player’s Health has the ability to use your personal information that you provide to send you personalized emails or electronic messages regarding platform use, updates, and communication pertaining to the user’s organizational membership. Notification settings can be tailored in the user’s profile.


This PP does not apply to information or content you send to Player’s Health via email.


Player’s Health may collect Non-Personal Information about you and your use of the Player’s Health interface. Non-Personal Information is data that cannot be used to identify or contact you. An example of non-personal injury information would be data on a head trauma that happened in Minnesota. Metadata also constitutes non-personal information, such as user login time, or average system login time. Such data poses no threat to the privacy of the individual, and cannot be used in combination with other data to identify an individual.

Because it safely maintains individual privacy, Player’s Health and its affiliates may utilize Non-Personal Information for purposes other than for which the data was originally collected. Player’s Health and its affiliates use this de-identified data and metadata in aggregated form.

In the rare case that identifiable information must be accessed, whether from Player’s Health or its affiliates, consent will always be confirmed before such identifiable information is accessed, unless otherwise required by law.


Upon request, we will delete and securely destroy your personal information from our database and, if possible, from our backup files. Specifics about retention of information is detailed in our retention schedule below.

*You should understand that it is not possible to remove each and every record of your information that you have submitted on the Player’s Health interface, and some records may be retained depending on applicable government regulations.


The Player’s Health interface allows you to share information with others. It is your choice to share information through the Player’s Health interface. Once that information has been shared, it may reduce Player’s Health ability to maintain your privacy. Users can see who has viewing permissions to their profile at all times.

Users can correct, update or review personal or personal information at any time. Users can also actively select which information to share with connected profiles.


Our PP applies to all of the services offered by Player’s Health and its third-party affiliates. This PP does not cover the privacy policies and practices of other companies and organizations who advertise our services, market our services, or resell our services.


By using the Player’s Health platform, users holding records assume consent when creating a profile. This allows any medical professional or other user in your network with access to the record to obtain express consent, and permission structures govern which users have express consent by virtue of the access itself. Users understand that any medical information may be shared with other medical professionals, administrators, and coaches in their network for the purposes of promoting health and safety for the user. It is impossible for a healthcare provider to access or use any health information of a patient without the patient’s consent.


When you are using Player’s Health, you may be directed to other sites that are operated and controlled by third parties that are beyond our control. For example, if you “click” on a banner advertisement, the “click” may take of off of our interface onto a different website. These other websites may send their own cookies to you, independently collect data or solicit personal information and may or may not have their own privacy policies. You should consult the websites privacy policy before providing personal information.


Our PP may change from time to time. Any changes to our privacy policy will appear on this page. By continuing to use the Player’s Health interface, you consent to this privacy policy and any subsequent changes.
