Players Health today announced the acquisition of Dallas-based brokerage Life Benefits, filling a crucial gap in the lack of quality health coverage amongst coaches and administrators in the youth sports industry. This addition brings important new employer benefit package offerings for youth and amateur sports organizations to the company’s already robust lineup of insurance and risk management solutions.

The need for full-time coaches and administrators continues to grow, with more than 400,000 amateur sports organizations and 45 million children playing an organized sport in the United States.
